Issue Description (Required):

Trying to play Vermintide 2 on my Steam Deck..
In the game’s main menu, I get the error “Some files are corrupted. Verify the integrity of your files.” After that, the game crashes.

I tried checking the game properties through steam, but it didn’t help.
What should I do?

Do you use the launcher workaround?

  • In steam, go to the game’s properties → Betas section, and select the launcher_workaround one (I forget what it’s called exactly)
  • Then launch the game, it will give you launcher options. Use the “Bypass Launcher DX12” one

Not sure if related to your issue, but that’s what I had to do to get it running on my Deck.

@GeorgeIv unfortunately Vermintide 2 is not officially supported on Steam Deck. Though perhaps what Flinlock has suggested above may help?
