The streets of Tertium are aflame. Whether by heretic plot or over-zealous Imperial enforcement makes no real difference. Missions must still run, so be careful down there. You’re literally dropping into a hot zone.
To make progress in the event, complete missions with the Inferno condition.
This event will start on Monday, June 23. The rewards will be Ordo dockets, Plasteel and Diamantine. Those who complete the last tier of the event will receive a cosmetic portrait frame.
Kitefin, this is not addressed to you. This is addressed to the people who after hearing about the last event and it’s Aquila awards and how everyone loved that and wanted it to be the standard going forward, and then decided to go back to not offering those.
I reckon yall wanted to rip the aquillas reward bandaid off as quickly as possible, lest you be crapped on for just doing it in the run up to the DLC as another malevolent trick. But it still kinda bites! Any hope for those coming back more than once a year?
Not just that, but also with this update we got less missions of the board now that they are all combined into one screen, and most don’t have modifiers at all. Such variety wow…
They refuse to add the event modifiers like mobian, walking giants, the new radio gunners, or this to the pool. We’ve been stuck with hunting grounds on permanent rotation for 3 goddamn years.
And here I was hoping Aquilas would become a regular reward from here on..
Shame on me for clinging to hope. I never seem to learn when it comes to Fatshark.
I don’t care about silly money anymore you got enough of my cash. But gameplay wise compared to the last event wtf is this? Lights out and more flamers? The last one was actually intense and cool. Try to make event modifiers more dynamic than just powering up Darktide and playing, or else they feel grindy and not really like cool gameplay modifiers.
I have a question regarding the intent behind these events, are they events intended primarily for new players? I ask because I don’t think these resources are particularly relevant to players otherwise.
Out of the multiple different playgroups I’ve run Darktide with, I don’t know a single player who this would motivate to log on and check out an event like this if the goal is to get people on to play more, especially next to the stuff going on with competing titles, particularly Helldivers.
I honestly don’t understand why questions are still being asked here at all. In the end we only get the information that it is as it is and all questions remain unanswered.
I think the forum is only there for players to let off steam instead of collecting information.
The frustration with FS on my part is only growing, unfortunately…
Besides offering tech support here, FS has incorporated a lot of feedback I’m pretty sure originated, or at least was shared, here. In this update: the campaign structure, although not perfect, is a good example. And gating players out of higher difficulties another one.
