Sniper Needs an Aggro/Spawn Announcement

first warning is sometimes not called . due to characters chatting or mission operator is talking , specifically when going from an area to another.

Second warning, you really call it a big laser? try to spot the laser in a lasgun fight, laser weapon keeps a trail, very close to sniper, many false positive between the group about sniper. also in the desert map, the area is sand misty, the red laser is very hard to spot due to color similarity.

3rd warning is yes, the best warning we have right now, it looks like as if charging the laser up and and a glance i think on the scope.

there is no 4th, 3-4 are part of the shooting itself.

Maybe check your ears and eyes?

definitely need to check the mouths of the characters.

While also question Zola,Hadron,Morrow and Masozi for their corresponding with Nurgle, by blocking up the only callout, that your character smelled the bad smelling sniper from across 4 walls.

A change to the laser color would also be very welcome.

Were I to go over the whole game, I’d change enemy lasgun beams to more of a hazy crimson, as was the case in the original Dawn of War, and then change the sniper’s laser sight to green. The shot effect could stay the same; I don’t think anyone’s mistaking the weird and funny “shockwave laser” he shoots.

That way, you’d always know who’s shooting, and when it’s a sniper and not a generic scab.

exactly, think a green or blue laser would be better.

in a lasgun fight , the trails from normal lasguns are close to sniper laser.
