the naming system doesn’t allow for me to use the custom name that i wanted to use. And yet the randomize system that the game has makes names that THE GAME approves but if a player makes a name like those in the randomizer in a similar manner the game doesn’t allow it which is incredibly frustrating since I actually try to put a lot of thought into my character and their name.

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

  1. go through skitari character creation
  2. come up with a cool and clever skitari name
  3. watch as the game says you can’t use it
  4. use the randomizer that the game has that makes the same style of name i was already trying to make but wouldn’t allow

I have the same issue with the name validation.
In my case the word “Factorial” is not allowed.
I wanted to use the name Factorial-Omega-09

I also had to use a different name for the new Skitarii. My usual name that always worked doesn’t work anymore.. wth…

@ghoststudr it looks like you’re attempting to use a space in the name - which won’t work.

@Technomonkey & @Veganator You can submit any name validation issues at https://fatshark.se/support and we can manually add it to our allow list - as long as it’s not inappropriate :smiley:
