Shade passive - Suggestion (edit)

Pretty awesome suggestion. Seems like a really solid design addition. For the ammo return at 15, 2-3 minimum would likely be ideal as it would help compensate for the change of “all backstabs” to “Shadow strikes”. That way against big targets like bosses/chaos warriors where you can get consecutive hits on their behind, the ammo return won’t feel as different.

In other words, pre-shadow strike the rapid LMB behind big targets could return ammo faster because you don’t need charged attacks(which are slower) and the ammo return is almost identical. After shadow strike, a slightly higher ammo return would compensate for this while also giving players more options and providing a more enjoyable experience for players. In the long run, it should give more ammo back per game and feel like a more consistent generation of ammo when using the talent, rather than periodic bursts. The one down side would be if it ends up generating too much ammo for the Shade, then the Shade might end up completely out-classing the Waystalker for Kerillian’s ranged role. Which I guess brings it full circle to sticking with possibly 1-2 ammo per hit.

I has a different idea in mind with constant fading and reappearing during infiltrate, but this one is great too. And it is easier to implement. And works better with still broken invisibility.

The ammo return should be a low percentage (too lazy to do the math) that should give you 1 arrow/bolt on all bows except swift bow where it should give you 2. As you said, it should be a more consistent way to recover ammunition but not so much as to make ranged play seem more optimal.

In general, if fatshark wants to eliminate the ranged meta, they need to add some cool and fun stuff to melee so that people prefer to play this way. Nerf ranged yes, but reward melee play as well

Suggestion: Ammo regen should depend on the enemy killed. All normal mooks up to chaos marauder: 1 ammo. Elites excluding CW and specials: 2 ammo. CW: 3 ammo. Bosses: I don’t know, maybe half your ammo count.

Not viable? Bottom tier? Not enough love? We must be playing a different game.

she KO’s storms one shot now, which is ridiculous. Downs chaos warriors in the back sooo fast now its ridiculous (no infiltrate).

Circle around anything with dual dagger --> everything is dead and you get a few bolts back, which is all you need and is in line with other non-ranged combat focus characters.

Bloodfletcher should be fixed and Shade will be in a good place imo.

It was even before that when no one was touching shade. I edited the title since it was wrong all along anyway
