To our disappointment, we’re having to push back the release of the Season 2 Beta until tomorrow morning.
After an in-office power outage paired with a very slow Steam uploader, we’ve chosen to delay. The new time we’re looking at is 11am CET, tomorrow (Tuesday the 17th of December).
Thanks for the head´s up. Would really have enjoyed to test it out today, but cant truly complain as my holiday starts tomorrow, which is a pretty good fit. Now that I know, I can spend the evening with Total Warhammer.
thanks for the fun game but considering yet another disappointment, I’ll be moving on.
Instead of broken promises and rehashed content, you might want to figure out whats wrong with your backend servers. the crashes and disconnects are at an all time high.
Good for you that from a full release it was reduced to beta release what also reduced to no release at all and you feel ok. I am really envious.
The list of minuses are so long, we dont even notice one more like this. I hope someone wont forget the keys of the office at home tomorrow and need to go back, but the traffic will be just terrible, or wont some nasty rats sabotage the wires of the servers you are storing everything.
Let me say one thing: seriously Lohner’s Emporium will not have new cosmetics?! I can handle one day of delay, no problems, even without “power outage”… but after all these months and hype, without new stuff, it seems pretty useless. It’s like season 2 didn’t start tomorrow and we was forced to wait again and again.
It doesn’t start tomorrow. Tomorrow starts a beta to try out the patch from Season 2 and to test out Lohner’s Emporium, and it won’t have new cosmetics so they don’t get spoiled to us for when Season 2 has a proper, actual release.
We’re opting in to test it before release, it’s not a release.
Yep, I know, but I haven’t understood because we can’t “”“test”"" some new cosmetics during beta (after months and months wainting). Also because I thought season 2 started before 2020.
I think frame is the right amount of reward if any for a beta participation. Especially a truly open beta with carryover to full release because at that point your getting more progress by opting in for beta than less.
