Revert the Scattershot change

The most recent patch fixed Scattershot’s unintended stacking condition where it could stack on enemies it didn’t hit if they could’ve been hit by a pellet should the pellet have unlimited cleave. This allowed for Scattershot to be stacked on the primary shot for the Shotguns far more easily. Notably, the Agripinaa and Lawbringer could get a decent damage increase that stemmed from Crits, which could be played into with stuff like Man-Stopper.

Now, the blessing is reserved to Lawbringer special spam and un-ads’d Kantrael shots, completely leaving the Agri in the dust. This just restricts the blessing pool further. Please revert it, balance it around the stacking condition. It makes it a generally competitive blessing that isn’t just +damage, which this game suffers from already.

The impact of this would give more options for the Agripinaa to work with (It’s now a DoA blessing, hyperdense crowds only could yield 3 stacks, normal patrol density averaged 2). You have to take Man-Stopper to pray for a streak of crits to keep the buff up. This is annoying to perform on Zealot, and is also a thing you could play into if you balance the blessing around this stacking condition (some kind of snowballing crit blessing).

Personally I don’t use the slug shotgun, but I empathize with your plight. The funny thing to me is that your frustration is indicative of a much larger issue with the crafting system and that is that you cannot re-customize your blessings/perks to deal with buffs/nerfs.

You’re entire gameplay style could be decimated after 500 hours of investing into a path and there is no compensation for it.

Have only the time to use it on zealot, but before it was scattershot that enabled man-stopper. Now it feels like it’s man-stopper that enables scattershot.

Definitely noticed. Still ok with a Pious build.
