Isn´t it reward enough to have a different kind of gameplay instead of pretty much the same permanently? It´s one of my biggest issues with Vermintide⌠there are several classes per character, but level 5 and 15 talents are the same. Different ultimates work way too similar and the âgameplayâ normally boils down to the weapons, which are very similar on each class in the most cases aswell.
DT offers only 4 classes, but all of them play very different, no matter the learning curve. And especially Psyker plays different depended on your loadout / feats. For example you can either hold your ultimate for a bunch of cc on cooldown, put a dot on top for better waveclear or use the 3rd one to get ride of packs with BB. Meanwhile on Vet you do the same, just with different targets. Or Zealot who either dash or dash twice or dash with a bit more attack speed.
A bunch might say that Psykers design is aweful, but in comparison it offers more difference and way more class-related stuff than the others mostly sitting on âGet X% more Yâ. You don´t need a class for that.
I seriously don´t know how poeple can´t see this as an issue since it takes a lot of skill out of the game especially if you run the perk with less aggro on top. You stand there, nothing will attack you and you do nothing but pewpewpew all day long. And there is even more to the classâŚ
I´m sure it´ll reach one or another breakpoint with it. But yeah, i personally would like to see something with more impact based on the force-weapons like a 50% chance for a double aoe explosion, more targets on the lightnings etcâŚ

Thatâs not true, I could use the force sword, and peril block with deflector and still have to worry about peril while using ammo. Or just using force sword and using the special. Or just using brainburst two times in a row⌠etc. I just feel like peril is all downside no upside. It would be nice if they tied the bonus damage from warp charges to peril instead, and then used warp charges to augment your next brainburst and consume said charges.
Holy crap, Peril is a major reason TO use a force sword with deflector and itâs one of the most massive rewards in the game. These are such non-complaints.

But since you also/said wrote âyou dont pre charge BBâ when you have/hear sound cues for special spawns which LITERALLY means you are playing pro active tells me a lot.
Holy Crap, Imagine all your feats and blessings require you to be max peril to get even a moderate benefit but you canât block with critical peril! Holy crap! Imagine moving the goal posts of the conversation after i showed you that peril is a separate resource from ammo and psykers on occasion still have to manage both but get no benefit of managing peril effectively! Holy crap!
First,precharge slowdown your movement which is more a perjudice in heresy+
Second,you dont one shot all elites and specials in heresy+,so precharge bb is just useless for things like mutant,and at the meanwhile you are slowing yourself down and build your peril,and what if next second a horde spawn and you have to charge your purgatus for example?
Third,the ones you can one shot doesnt benefit from precharge.Sniper?No sound,you see a redline only,you find out and lock and back cover.Bomber?find out and lock on.Gunner?If vets dont kill them faster than the same story.The only situation precharge may work is shootgunner but again,after months of damnation farm I havent see even 1 scence where precharge actualy do more good than harm.
Its a (I steal kill) bottom on lower dif,to make your vet feel like useless,NOT in damnation

And the more you get the same threads with the same responses on how to adjust Psyker ⌠MAYBE FS will listen? I mean I was suprised about their survey that had a LOT of stuff people complained about the forum in it.
So because you do not 1 hit them, you especially do not want to insta hit them as soon as they come in line of sight, which would allow you to basically hit them with two brainbursts (one precharged + 1 full cast) instead of just one (1 full cast without precharging) within the same timeframe?
Functionally, they dont work together, so its not working for anyone, but convincing yourself that it does is definitely a good coping mechanism i suppose. Got any more post with nothing to add? I love the mystical âIt works for USâ, as if you represent someone more than yourself. Smrt.
