Prevent leaving the game when everyone is down

Can you please add logic that prevents leaving the game if everyone is down?

In every auric maelstrom I play, once everyone goes down some ass leaves, giving the game a level 1 bot that will die. Now you are just watching the bot play and some poor soul joins in right before it dies so they get to play “Fail Screen, The Game”.

If you’ve ever wondered why you join into a fail screen, its because someone couldn’t wait the 30s to go through the fail screen, so they let you deal with it instead.

As I said, bots should replace literally the player that has left.
If the player was on floor, then the bot should replace it on floor. And so the mission would end. If the guy that have left had 20% hp, same for the bot… if the guy had lost one wound, then one wound less for the bot… etc. player is dead, bot reappears tied.

Too many games I see someone leaving and the bot reviving someone… that’s removing a large part of the difficulty.

EDIT: better than 1 wound less would mean 1 wound less for the bot… with a martyrdom build it could lead to a “no wound for bot”, better is to replace the bot with same percent for health, health lost and corruption. Simple and efficient.

Fear not! For the frothing forum zealots have decreed that Ogryn is now so invincibley overpowered that no game shall ever be lost again! So you need not worry about the fail screen ever again.

But whole heartedly agree that bots should only join in the exact state the player left in.

Simple and good.

Impossible alt f4 unless we…. Nah.

Should probably just have replacement bots enter in same state as player who left… downed.

Sadly would prevent the bot save match gimmick but those games should be losses anyway.

Agree.

this is a bad fix to a bad problem. instead of preventing leaving prevent rejoining games you’ve just left. this not only fixes joining failing missions but also makes it so you don’t rejoin games you don’t want to be in for whatever reason (annoying player, bad map mods, you just wanna do something else etc.)

That’s a separate problem.

What you suggest neither prevents new people from joining failed missions nor prevents everyone waiting for the bot to die so the game can end.

no its not a separate problem, you can’t read or you have a vendetta against ppl who don’t want to waste their time with fatsharts loading screens.

i forgot to add prevent players from joining failing missions where everyone is down or the fail screen is playing. kind of important, my bad. i made a post about this earlier so i agree that being stuck in a fail state is frustrating, but preventing leaving is taking away agency from the player for no reason.
