Army of the Dead needs to be buffed.
“Raise Dead reanimates 6 additional skeletons that decay after 20 seconds.”
The idea on paper is fun but the application in-game is awful, and not worthy compared to the other two better level 30 talents. It has low use case utility since Raise Dead has 110 sec cooldown and skullies only last for 20 seconds, which is next to nothing imo.
Suggestion 1: Raise Dead reanimates 6 additional skeletons. (12 permanent) Any extra skeleton will decay after 30 seconds. Using Army of the Dead can aggro Monsters now for a short period of time. Monsters won’t ignore Skeletons during that time.
Suggestion 2: Raise Dead reanimates 6 additional skeletons that decay after 30 seconds.
Death’s Release prioritizes now decaying skeletons instead of random ones. Make decaying skeletons outline different, to differentiate them from permanent ones in case of manual Death’s Release command.
Decaying skeletons will be always prioritized this way when quick using Death’s Release. This is crucial for high range uptime builds, to not consume your permanent skeletons, being able to differentiate them from decaying ones.
Suggestion 3: Fuse Army of the Dead and Spirit Leech together (increasing decay to 30 sec) and place it on Level 25 talent row where Spirit Leech is. Now remove hammer skeletons from Dead Seneschals talent (keep only shield skeletons there, increasing their defense), and place hammer skeletons in this new level 30 talent. Increase their attack damage and keep the stagger when they charge. Or maybe add something else, a new talent from scratch instead of splitting Dead Seneschals idk.
Personally I prefer suggestion 2, minor buff with QoL changes.
Then 1, which is a great buff.
Then there would be the 3rd option, which is not bad either, and I have placed it because I know there are people out there who would like that change.
