Would also be nice if the storm casters had to have line of sight to be able to drop their whirlwind.

Did you download the latest patch? It fixed a LOT of specials shooting through walls issue. They also said in the notes that it’s an ongoing project and there’s still some areas that specials can shoot through walls that are being patched in the future.
