Playing Veteran Marksman (Helbore) feels awful

I’m in the US. Nobody would play the ranked Winds of Magic in VT2 and to this day, I’ve never been able to find a full team willing to take them on. However, the modded Discord for VT2 can always find games, usually C3 DWONS.

If Havoc 40 is just a few difficulty modifiers buffing enemies and spamming loads of crap at you to where you have to huddle up and fight hordes for 15 minutes straight every other room, then I probably wouldn’t be interested. It’s more of a slog in VT2 than it is challenging. If nobody outside of a few discord servers and forum users are playing it, then I don’t see why I would bother.

I was hoping for a good rogue-lite mode like the Chaos Wastes in VT2 with a short campaign of 5 missions on unique maps.

Marksman weapons were never going to work in Darktide for average players. Deal with it. This doesn’t mean I haven’t run into people who make them work and are not afraid to keep shooting with Crushers into their face.
