this BETA is trash they need to fix the rats from popping up out of no were and the place where you get stuck

Just curious, is the Update #2 in the works? I’m sure the last few days were about ensuring 1.2.2 landed safe ‘n’ sound, but now it’s time to focus full time on the balance beta again. 
Can we see a 2h axe or 1h axe balance in the next update?
2H Axe definitely needs a buff, I just don’t really know what its point is. It does do good boss damage, but when you have classes built around that concept it’s not so important. It can’t one-shot any enemies besides Clan and Slave rats, it doesn’t have great cleave, it’s pretty slow . . . I guess it does have a bit more mobility, but still. It’s quite underwhelming.
1H Axe does still need a buff. Its basic moveset is fine at this point, but it needs more power on its charged attack. Still can’t one-shot Chaos marauders, even with a headshot. Maybe you could build for that, but I know I have 10% +Infantry on . . . Just to give the weapon SOME pace it should have that ability, IMO. It’s poor against hordes, so why also make it unable to one-shot those it does hit?
Actually moveset is not fine, heavy attacks are just slower version of 1h Hammer’s heavy but does the same damage, also push-stab makes no sense, it’s single-target armour piercing overhed, just like heavy attack. In fact we have heavy and push stab doing the same thing that makes little to no sense IMO.
By basic moveset I meant its light attacks, I wasn’t clear enough. It is the heavies and maybe the push-stab that need work still.
pickaxe just does everything better than the greataxe. literally no reason to use the greataxe over the pickaxe. cleaving light attacks that can stagger SV. A powerful and fast push attack and l1 combo. Ungoldy single target damage. And its heavy melee charge is pretty formidable at covering ground

I installed the beta but It’s not loading. How do I activate the beta ?
After you follow these instructions:
You should see the game looking like this in steam:
You just load the game as you normally would at that point(still needs to download all the updates).
There is never enough nerfs so overall this is a very good patch. Keep up the great work Fatshark.
