the combat blade buffs are in part 2 of the patch notes
Yeah one of my buddies said the same thing and suggested 5k as well, filthy (semi) casual that he is.
200 for 1 point mod bump is really low IMO, that’s 2 points per run.
My point was that since it seems to go against the designer’s intent, something quite high might be a decent compromise and give something to strive for and an an actual use for Diamantine.
Yes. You would actually get some progression for every mission you complete.
You would still have to do 60+ damnation runs just to upgrade a single item to max.
That is not too easy or too cheap.
And that does not even include lock removal.
Honestly
I’m not maths adverse. It’s my job. But this is just numerical stat data dumping.
What are you telling your player base?
I can crank out millions of rows of data in my job too, but what really matters is that there’s some generalised explanation of what you’ve done and why.
Three frigging pages of number changes. Gee thanks.
Part one has the general weapon changes summary, you’ll find some dev commentery about why some changes was made.
It does.
I was hoping more for something like “we think the ranged upkeep of the Psyker xyz skill was doing too much damage per second with high up time, so we’ve scaled branch X back with these changes by doing this”.
Or
“Vet general traits a, b, c have been too impacted by changes of z so we’re looking to boost that by xy”
Sure there are some notes. Some with cause. But there’s over 100 stat changes. All listed numerically. I don’t object to that, but at least help guide players. Otherwise what they’re basically suggesting is wipe your builds and go again to see which combos work for you.
I’m not sure the Rippers needed the ammo nerf (losing 1 mag), but nice to see the poke going back to double dose of brittle (max stacks), as it was b4 last update.
The shotguns getting some much needed love is a welcome change, I wonder if the ammo shouldn’t be increased more even with the damage buffs? Hands-on Aurics should give us an idea. The Auric ammo economy is my main concern for these.
YOU GUYS CALL THIS SLIGHTLY REDUCED?!
WTF GUYS…
Half the Ammo Pool and half the Mag size… Again you call this Slightly?!
AGAIN no need to Nerf this Weapon. Has anyone Dev ever played this Gun?!
2 of the Rippers are super Innaccurate at medium Range, there was no need?
Not everyone is using Animation Cancel for every single shot even on Auric T5…
The only thing this Gun needed was a Accuracy Buff and not a "NEVER USING THIS WEAPON AGAIN, its Trash now… NERF
“What exactly should be the Role of this Weapon now?!”
Its not even worth to shoot Hordes, not worth to shoot Elites or Specials even with Can Opener at close Range. Is it too much to ask for a Good Rippergun?!
Even with Flak Dmg, due to the Crosshair nearly being as wide as my Screen it needed a Nerf, because it was unreliable to kill stuff other than Horde or at very close Rang some Elites Specials.
AT THE VERY LEAST; you could have changed the Ripper Guns from Burstfire to Singleshot with this MASSIVE " SLIGHTLY CHANGES" and reduce the Spread after Burst like we already have on a certain Rippergun Pattern, so its actually useful!
Not everyone is using Rippergun/ Gunlugger. I Bet that 99% use the Stubber due to Synergy with Crits etc!
I’m confused about that. I thought there was a brittle cap of 40%, those stack numbers seem to go over that cap though?
Can you not read? Look at the numbers. The mag size didn’t change and they lost about 20 max ammo at max ammo stat. I’m so confused by your post.
Magazin 21 to 12… What are writing man?!
Ripperguns have a Magsize of 21 shots. Never ever seen that i had 21 Mags in my Ammopool and you ask me if i can read?!
LOL
EDIT:
Reserve means Ammo Pool
Magazin means how many Bullets are inside the Mag
12 min
21 max
That’s at ammo 0 - 80%
Daddy, chill
12 is what they get at 0% ammo stat before and after this patch. 21 is what they get at 80 ammo stat before and after this patch.
Same thing here. 72 reserve ammo at 0% ammo stat before and after this patch. 168 reserve at 80% ammo stat before patch, 148 reserve ammo at 80% ammo stat after patch.
Read that a few more times and I’m sure you’ll eventually get it
It’s 12-21 to 12-21 (no changes)
Jeez, these are people we are playing one game with…
168 was max ammo Pool, now its 72
Just played Ogryn today
EDIT:
OKay i hope im wrong!
72 min
148 max
You’re extremely wrong and you’ve now had 3 people explain to you precisely why
You know its late, i said i probably wrong. But theres no need for shiity comments like yours.
You either explain like an Adult or leave it be!
Ssry i didnt know God was Commenting on my Post and never made a mistake in EVER!
But Yeah teh rest stands as said it, ther was no need at all to nerf Rippers in the first place
Now you know.
You may need to let go of your hatred of numbers brother. It doesnt need to be 100% to be ok, brother. It can be 80. Its ok.
