Hey guys.
I think we can all agree Arbites feels and plays awesome and is appropriately bad-ass and lore fitting. This is not a discussion about them; we all know Arbites needs to be given some cosmetic unlocks in the comissary and something added to the over-arching penance/havoc so let’s not talk about that here.
Our existing ‘rejects’ need some love. Post-level 30 (or I guess now, post-initial campaign!) our rejects are formally pardoned and granted a position of Acolyte in the Inquisition, serving in Grendyl’s retinue.
So here is what I propose. Do NOT nerf the Arbites. This is not the way. BUFF the ‘rejects’
Now we are actual members of the retinue and no longer prisoners, we should be able to have access to higher tiers of weaponry and equipment. I suggest adding at least 2-3 ‘general’ weaponry that ‘all’ classes can equip, and adding some better weaponry or more marks to the retinues arsenal that only specific classes can equip to retain that sense of personality.
i.e Incinerator for Zealot, Long-las for Veteran, etc
There are SO many weapons we do not currently have access to that would feel sufficiently powerful to the other classes. I will say as a priority that the OGRYN desperately needs to be first on the list (I say this as a Psyker main) because they have a extremely small pool of weaponry to pull from.
Possible weaponry:
Ogryn only
Knuckle Dusters
‘Big’un’ (A ogryn two-handed sword)
‘Thunker’ (A ogryn two-handed hammer/maul)
