I keep receiving this “Untrusted file” message over and over when I attempt to launch the game. I’ve already uninstalled and re-installed my drivers for my GPU. I’m becoming extremely annoyed because this is the only game that has ever had this issue with me.

I had to completely uninstall Nvidia GeForce Experience, so that’s not in my system, only the basic driver for the LATEST Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 driver.

Could you please ensure the latest updates for Windows are installed, and run the Windows System File Checker by:

  1. Launch the ‘Command Prompt’ as an administrator
  2. If prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, enter the password or select ‘Allow’
  3. Enter the command:
    sfc /scannow
  4. Restart your PC once complete
