Something about the new skin light effect is weird, its blinding at darker maps

Yeah, it was cool at first, but then I realised I also like to be able to see.
Do you play with high gamma ?
I use mostly this staff, love it, and while I agree it make some light in the dark which is pretty useful, I never have seen this.
Maybe it’s some map in particular ?

Normal graphic settings, this is convocation of decay. In this one it’s the worst cenario.
At other maps it’s just an annoying glow, it feels like holding a torch , wich for me is kind of disturbing. The skin is super cool don’t get me wrong.
