I don’t remember purposely uglified characters and they were hive gangers.

If you actually read the 40k novels you’d know that the very first Inquisitorial agent shown in Xenos by Dan Abnett is a female ganger in Inquisitor Eisenhorn’s retinue and she is well respected by him. This release is fine, on paper.

Ugly characters have been a complaint since Darktide released. In fact it was an option on that critique survey from wayyyy back if you remember it. The characters do not have to be super model levels of attractive, there is a realistic medium that could be achieved. Why not at least give an option for an attractive character. Do attractive people not exist irl? Where is their representation? This is also not considering the fact that the cosmetics do not even adapt for the female character model which is just plain lazy. The cosmetics are all male body.
