I was excited for a new class, but this is just… sad. And weird.
Am I as an Arbitrator allowed to execute them on sight?

This will be the first Fatshark DLC I won’t even touch with a stick.

Same question for @FatsharkQuickpaw since you didn’t answer in the post last week : Are you gonna raise the number of maximum characters created by account for more than 8 actually or should i be ready to delete one of my characters in double to make space for the new class ?

Well, that’s a little disappointing. I mean as fifth base game Reject-origin class Hive Scum would be a good fit. But premium paid class post-Arbites?

Needle gun is the only 40k-ish thing here. Stab pistol is not the most iconic, but ok. The rest is so whatever, jeez.

Even with some new faces, hair styles and even tattoos. Heh, who thought that.
Whatever, we’ll see how it plays. I don’t want to judge anything I haven’t tried yet. Tbh, dual wielding and aggressive acrobatics doesn’t sound bad.
Still hope mech soldier will be the next.

The roleplay fantasy of a ganger definitely doesn’t appeal much to me, but I’m just glad they’re adding new classes. I just hope it isn’t absurdly OP and further breaks the already fraught game balance. I don’t want Fatshark to fall down that pay-to-win hole and garner that reputation - many have already come to that conclusion after Arbites was so powerful at its launch.

Back in Vermintide 2, the only 2 DLC classes I bought were the Warrior Priest and the Outcast Engineer. I don’t recall either of those being particularly OP compared to the other careers.

Unlike many I’m not disappointed with the Hive Scum concept. Having a ganger is for sure underappreciated in the 40k setting.
The thing I take issue with is that the talents seem very uninspired. It seems to be all re-statted copies of other classes abilities and such. Very disappointing, and I was hoping DLC classes would be held to a higher standard.

I cannot believe how close Reddit came to predicting the talents, grenades, etc…

This is truly inspirational in its originality.

We got dual wielding weapons at least :clown_face: How much do you wanna bet they’re gonna be class-restricted ?

Absolutely no way this wasn’t in development well before June.

All the actual good designers left and all that’s left are uninspired people who browse reddit for ideas.

Nah, like 20 people bitching like always. Most are oblivious and many are happy. Don’t try to gauge enthusiasm from this forum. It’s always been full of salty basement dweller 40k needs.

New class looks sick. Can’t wait to dual-wield.

They only offered one extra slot from release so four classes one extra slot for a duplicate, even with 6 classes now that’s 7 so you already have 8 slots…:man_shrugging:
