I’d really rather they didn’t rely on them even if they’re the only threatening specials.
Even if it’ll make the one level just a bit easier, it’s worth it for just one level dedicated to each Faction, and that includes one for Beastmen. ESPECIALLY Dark Omen when the level established that the brayherd are in opposition of the Vermintide.
It sets those levels apart and elevated them in terms of gameplay ahead of other stages just like it did for Into The Nest.
(and seriously, FS should long have finished the Beastmen’s roster so they’d have more than just 1 special)
That sounded nice when it was implemented but it was never realized in any way, gotta start with that if anything. Not that i believe it realistic to expect it. I mean, seriously, Dark Omens has never been without all the specials, and city maps have pretty much never been without goats, despite how they supposedly stay outside the walls.
The only exception to all this is indeed “Into the Nest” which…features a warlord who is mostly known for doing the superhero landing and dying instantly-
Didn’t they already fix this by limiting where they can appear?
But with the new skeleton tech, I wonder if CA could expand the bray herds enough that they exist as a chaotic neutral Faction that attacks both you and the pactsworn that they should hate just as much for having even a hint of civilization (underempires and war camps)
Yeah I’ve always been a bit conflicted about that, all the bosses who aren’t Nurgloth feel like complete pushovers.
A Skaven Warlord should probably be a bit tougher, especially since the U5 are all just Hero-tier at most whereas Warlords are Lords
I havent been paying attention to this for a while if i am honest, but, as far as i know they have tried to do this, about 5 times or so…prior times did not work at all. Somewhat certain we still get goats inside cities and sewers. Or maybe i am imagining things because it failed too many times before, also possible.
Not sure i´d call them all pushovers, Warcamp punishes lack of wave/armor clear pretty hard and the boss there is much more durable than the big Rat. And burbonque…is either a breeze (strong consistent ranged DPS present) or a half a damn attrition war all on his own.
