Necromancer Army of the Dead - Death's Release

Wanted to bring this up with the upcoming buff to Army of the Dead:

Currently, using death’s release (sacrificing skeletons) with the bonus skeletons from army of the dead runs the risk of consuming “permanent” skeletons, if you don’t somehow manage to keep the two groups sorted in your head.

I’d like to see this changed somehow, either as a visual distinction between permanent and temporary skeletons, so you can make the choice to consume the temporary ones first. Or so that any skeleton consumed while you have more than 6 active is always removed from the temporary pool, not the permanent.

  • For clarity: Currently if you have 12 skeletons summoned, and consume the six originals, you will be left with 0 when the 20 second timer runs down.

My preference would be the visual indicator of which is which, this retains an element of skill in selecting only the temporary skeletons to consume whilst in the middle of a fight. Something akin to the “crumbling” vfx in Total War Warhammer would be thematically appropriate.
