Noticed when I logged in today that I didn’t get my rewards from completing collecting 30 books during the event. I had two Melk tasks back to back for 16 books each, so I know for a fact that I definitely got the required number. Any assistance would be appreciated.

We’ve checked your account, and unfortunately you only appear to have completed Tier 5 (of 7) for the event. With Tier 5 claimed on 2nd March.
Just to mention, only specific missions with event modifier will count for books, and collecting any books on any other missions will not have counted. Could this be why?
I know for a fact I did them in the 21st mission nodes. I’m guessing this means I was having the same bug discussed in a few other threads where players were just outright not getting credits for their missions being completed. I only ever did the 21st mission nodes and I did them with people on the Discord server to grind through them fast. I don’t recall the players I played with, but it was earlier in the week.
@SolomonGrim, Ah I see. I asked one of our backend developers to double check your account data, and they mentioned that a fair few games were played during the event which were lost. In these cases, the collected books will not have counted - could this explain why?
I’m aware that books collected in unfinished missions don’t count toward the total, but I know for a fact that I had finished enough missions with books in hand. I’m wondering if maybe joining late in the mission didn’t count books found by the squad already, or some other hiccup with the game not giving me proper credit.
It’s extremely frustrating given the fact that, as your backend team saw, lots of games were lost and basically amounted to wasted time because of bad teammates. And then to not get those critical resources to enable account progression ripped out from under me, it’s even worse. I badly need diamantine and it just doesn’t come fast enough for me to adequately equip myself for higher end content.
It has definitely impacted my desire to continue playing as much as I did during the event, seeing that I just didn’t get the most important rewards no matter what efforts I went through to get them. A few days were spent grinding with people on Discord on this game over me running FF14 content with my other friends, because of the event.
