Miracle of grimnir not working on belakor arena

happened to us last night, we passed by a shrine of strife before the second belakor map, we choose the miracle of grimnir hopping to get the monster on the way to the arena, then feared to see it arrive during one of the chest, then… it just didn’t turned up.
the 200coin were wasted for nothing.

I’m guessing that’s because the map dosen’t have monster spawn by default?

Grimnir applies to the first Chaos Chosen spawned.
