Can you give us something to do with Melk coins? Even the normal currency is more worth right now then melk coins.
Maybe let us change weapon stats, like if you want to switch the dump stat to something else. Or let us use the melk coins to upgrade the dump stat to 80 so that all weapon stats can be 80. Or make weapons upgradeable above 500, to max weapon stats to 100 instead of 80.
Just give us something, but something valuable!
That’s not a bad idea, but I would say it should require a lot of resources of all types, to be effective as a money burner.
With the rest of it - there are very vocal folks around here who openly oppose these ideas (new gear tier, and having any proper economy in the game at all). In their opinion, after you’ve maxed it out, you should just “play the game for the sake of it” - despite lack of content and snail-fast content updates rates. There are games which push new content regularly, and there are games which are slow on content updates, but at least provide some distractions in form of reward tracks of various kinds you can grind for some cosmetic, or better gear (even if it’s only slightly better, to a point it doesn’t add any notable powercreep).
And there is DT which neither have content, nor some grind goals, lol. Should work nicely, as a commercial enterprise, I think. Very original, at least.

You mean the slot machine where you pay some trifle amount to get a random one? Half of my curios come from the Armory actually, I think. I only used the “slot machine” a couple time at Melk, when I needed some rare one urgently, to complete a new build. But overall, I doubt it’s a sufficient incentive, honestly. I have a bunch of good curios for all my operatives already, like 15-16% toughness, 18-19 HP etc - they are not rare at all, got them from drops and browsing shops casually. I have several sets per each character, actually, for different builds - so I wouldn’t need to change perks all the time. Do I need those extra few percents THAT bad? Nope, I don’t care.
Anyway, I have something like 20k of those coins, 10k of which I acquired during last few weeks I think. They are abundant, I mean, you don’t need that much of them even if you want to gamble. You can get them easy enough in large quantities.
