So realized something after completing the campaign (well like whats currently available) as Arbites class. There winds up being a weird lore loophole with Mara Vinci now. If playing as Arbites, she never gets exposed and turned into a servitor. She is still working at the commisary in full human form for me, meanwhile for the other classes she has become Atonement MV 1. I havent finished replaying the campaign as a reject to see at what mission they have her be revealed and changed for comparison but just seems like a weird oversight that that part is completely ignored for Arbites.
I know with Arbites not being rejects that much of that storyline wont fit for them, but like completely skipping over the fact there was a traitor on the Mourningstar and Rannick dealt with her (when playing as a class that primarily goes after traitors and whatnot) just kinda feels weird. After each mission (as Arbites) i kept expecting to see some mention of traitorous activity happening on the Mourningstar but nope…everything is SOP onboard for some reason. If its supposed to be that the Arbites arrive after that point in the story…then why is Mara Vinci even present on the Mourningstar for Arbites, should just immediately show as Atonement MV 1.
do you know if she was always a servitor? Also…ok this is weird…I just checked right now and she is a servitor…I swear she wasnt the last time i was on as my Arbites…maybe i had to log out and back in after finishing the campaign and it would “update”? shrug
I assume she turns into a servitor when you reach a certain (trust) level or campaign mission.
But I can’t say for sure because there was no reason to visit her as an Arbitrator.
Nope…finished the campaign as Arbiter (reaching lvl 30) and at least initially she was still regular human form. Then after making the initial post and having logged out and then back in, she up and was suddenly in servitor appearance. Best I can figure is either a) it was a bug/oversight and she is supposed to always be a servitor for Arbites (since from my understanding they basically canonically are joining in after the initial storyline that would result in her becoming a servitor) or the game basically uses the “regular” Mourningstar hub area/npcs for Arbites until they complete the story/reach lvl 30 and then, like for regular rejects, it updates to “end game” mourningstar to have her in servitor form.
