Legacy of Vraks Knife skin is identical to Drop-Trooper's Combat Knife

Refer to the reference photos. Note that any differences shown in these photos are so minute that it could be attributed to different angles of shade/light reflection rather than a different color palate.

While this sets an alarming precedent for selling duplicate skins, the primary intention of this post is to warn any who may already own the Drop-Trooper’s Combat Knife skin to avoid effectively purchasing the skin twice.

Is the color slightly different?

Sounds like this kind of thing:

Except fatshark totally isn’t selling fomo, remember?

It could be as the Vraks skin appears to have cooler undertones, but it could also be the lighting at slightly different angles. Either way, when that’s even in question, I’d argue they’ve taken it too far.

you’re not a true whale if you don’t have both.

edit: i’ve just seen the captions on reddit, and the vraks axe looks pretty similar to the old shrine guard axe i have.

that subcontractor they have working on skins sure is getting confident fatshark’s not going to check their work.

fatshark probably gave him a raise for being able to pass that off as “new skin”

Plenty of skins already are just swapping materials(camo/paint…etc.) of the same model; this one might have swapped to a material that’s only a few shades off.
