Latest patch causing >5 ms of in-game latency

The latest patch added more than 5 times the in game latency with the same settings. Before the latest update I was getting 4 ms of rendering latency. After the patch I am getting 20 ms with reflex set to boost mode dlss off and 30 ms of lateith reflex off. I have a 4090 suprim liquid and 7800X3D on a cx oled 4k 120hz. Before the update I ran the game at maximum settings at 4k frame cap on and vsync ( 4 ms latency). After update using same maximum settings and vsync on it went to from 20 to 30 ms depending if reflex is on or off. Uncapping frame rate with vsync off I am getting 220 fps but the best latency I get is 15 ms. How did my in game latency get more than 5 times worse with the same settings? Also I ran game with previous drivers and latest driver from Nvidia which has support for the vermintide 2 dlss in the description. I am using GeForce experience overlay to show the performance and latency. I played with the sett for a whole hour and I couldn’t replicate the performance latency as before. My subjective experience after latest update is it feels laggy…Please fix the in game latency or please let me who how I can get the 4 ms latency as before.

Hi @Godrilla,

I have added this report to our internal performance report - thanks!

For now I can only point you to our connectivity and latency solutions, which may be of help, here:

Thank you for the response. The issue is not network latency but game rendering latency. When using GeForce experience performance tool, the performance shows the rendering latency to be more than 5 times worse. I actually tried direct x 11 and it improved the render latency to 11 to 14 ms but no where near 4 ms it was before FYI.

Ah I see! My mistake. I’ll update our internal report. Thank you!
