Crash - During load screen to the Keep
Issue Description (Required):
This has all started happening since the update I have never crashed before. Reinstalling doesn’t resolve since I cant unequip the weapon skin. I even tried installing without DLC. 
Reproduction Rate (Required):
Consistently 100%
- Launch game
- Offline (no psn for online lobbies to resolve the workaround shared on reddit)
- Crashes on loading screen.
I was checking out the Purple gun skin on ranger vet when the crash happened. The error message reads the same as this post. Now I can’t even start the game, before or after reinstall, to try the new Verminous Dreams maps.

Is there any hope for my offline save file in sight? or a patch resolution? I can’t resync my online save to my offline save without PSN.

The Title Screen where you select Online or Offline states:
Please note that progress from offline mode does NOT transfer to online mode. You are, however, able to transfer your online progression to your offline account.
Normally on the same screen with that message you can press Triangle to sync your offline save.
Without PSN you can’t access the feature on the console system to Upload/Restore your saved data from the cloud server either. This menu is found in Settings (cog icon) > Storage > Console Storage > Saved Data > Saved Data and Game/App Settings on the PS5 console.
So, I tested it out by deleting my Saved Data for the Vermintide 2 and restarting the game. The result was a blank slate and the game booted up as if it were the first time. However, I can at least play the game now.. so that’s good enough for me.
