It seems that the attack range of the Combat Blade Mk III is inconsistent

The Combat Blade Mk III has two different Heavy Attack animations.
Both of them are categorized as Strike-Down attacks.

However, during testing, I noticed that the second Heavy Attack has a noticeably shorter reach compared to the first one.
Additionally, the third Light Attack animation is also a Strike-Down type, so I tested it as well — and it does successfully hit at the same distance where the second Heavy Attack fails.

This leads to an awkward situation: immediately after the second Heavy Attack, the Light Attack that follows is the third animation (a thrust), which successfully connects even though the preceding Heavy Attack whiffed due to shorter reach.
This feels unintentional and affects consistency during combos.

Could you please adjust the reach of the second Heavy Attack so that it matches the first Heavy Attack and the third Light Attack?

Additionally, I have also tested the Push Attack, and it appears to share the same issue — its reach is shorter and fails at the same distance where the first Heavy Attack and the third Light Attack successfully connect.

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

  1. In the Meatgrinder, summon an enemy and equip the Combat Blade Mk III.

  2. Adjust your distance to the point where the first Heavy Attack barely connects, then perform the second Heavy Attack.

  3. Observe that the first Heavy Attack hits, but the second Heavy Attack whiffs.

  4. After the second Heavy Attack fails to hit, perform the third Light Attack and confirm that it connects at the same distance.

  5. At the same distance, perform a Push Attack and confirm that it also fails to hit, similar to the second Heavy Attack.

I can no longer edit the original post, so I’m adding an additional video here.

In this video, all Light Attack animations successfully connect, but the second Heavy Attack and the Push Attack both fail to hit at the same distance.
Since the second Heavy Attack → third Light Attack combo and the Heavy Attack → Push Attack sequence are commonly used in actual gameplay, I really hope this issue can be addressed.

I’ll have you know this problem only affects me, no-one else has it. It’s just my game that does and it doesn’t happen to anyone else.

But seriously I wish they would fix this BS, it’s been like this since they changed something ages ago, it effects both knife marks.

Knife was my fave weapon, then around the time they gave the DS to Zealot etc they broke it.

They broke the range as you demonstrate, they also broke the attacks so that it resets for no reason on the h2 swing and goes back to h1, so you think you’re about to hit something and you just stand there and twirl the knife around.
