Issues Urgently Needing Improvement in Warhammer 40,000: Darktide's Expedition Mode

To be honest, this mode isn’t very fun.

1. Complete lack of in-match progression elements.
2. Collected Tech Fragments serve no purpose other than unlocking more levels.
3. No opportunity to obtain higher-tier gear from mission end rewards.

Solutions:

1. Introduce roguelike elements, including obtainable buffs and challenge chests for players, and increase the amount of in-match currency obtainable from exploration points.
2. Allow Tech Fragments to be used for refining orange-tier weapons into red-tier weapons, which feature unique traits, providing out-of-match progression.
3. Extend mission duration by 5 minutes.

Navigation QoL is needed immediately. At a minimum, ranges on the PoI and bunker/extract icons (and a key would be nice, but can be learned…by some players).

(Un)Real(istic) wish - an actual, pull-up minimap on your auspex (a la helldivers) to show the hidden gaps and cliff faces you might dead end yourself into.

Terrain generation needs some polishing. Had an extract area with a floor raised a bit too high that enemies and my med pack clipped through.

Modifiers that aren’t JUST MORE DOGS FFS.
