Is the Psyker the downstate class?

Try to adopt the voidstrike staff, go critical build and opt for venting ability (the one on the left of the tree).

Hello, I try to understand how a psyker can deal 2 to 3 times the amount of damages that other classes can do with staves. It will take time cause, as several may know, i am a bad psyker. Actually I wanted to see what are the best talents to use staves. The ones that are really needed to achieve the DPS I can see on scoreboard (2 - 3 times other classes damages). As you can see, I perfectly know that I am not the best psyker.. lol

But I feel that voidstrike staff is easy to use, especially cause you can shoot bigger projectiles.
But surge is also good to start. However with it you get a good staff against carapace (crushers and mauler) and even flak armor and you have a good ranged primary attack (the same is on all staff).
