anyone old enough for
besides,
Letâs hope it doesnât play fetch with lobbed grenades
i want it to retrieve the genitals of the bomber thats been hiding around that corner for ages
Shadowdancer⌠right
I might be misrememberingâŚ
your memory serves you well
been playing it briefly in 1991 at the local âmallâ while mom was shopping, never looked at the title but was searching for the cartridge afterwards for ages.
must have been 1995 when i finally had shadow dancer in my collectionđ
almost âthe one that got awayâ
side note:
i wonder if the designers went âeaster-eggyâ and let us pick a brad dourif look alike face for the character
i mean those jaws dont get more snappy than âdeath machineâ
Iâm looking forward to the conversations with the Arbites, but Iâm also excited to see how the existing classes react to the dog and what kind of dialogues they have!
The design of the Mastiff certainly sounds interesting - good to know that itâs not a hard carry. Allied NPCs in a game like this should act more like a tool you can use, and based on the description from the game designers, this was kept in mind, just like how with the Necromancer.
Itâs also fun to see the foley solutions! I wonder if anyone is gonna prank somebody by tapping on their shoulder with the glove.
Depending on how powerful the bonuses are, I may end up disabling the dog entirely, or maybe only with a strong enough team. Players are very powerful on their own already, so the dog is gonna have to put in work to make sure I consider it a valuable companion.
get ready though for a 4x arbites team yelling âwho let the dogs outâ every 30 seconds
Who in their right mind would do that?! You monster! HERETIC!
Worth the money, give me it
good stuff
still it will be sooooooooooooooooooo annoying having nothing but arbites for weeks ingame
Sounds like it was a whole lot of work to get that working as intended
Design principles, process details, feature teases, BTS foley deets, office dogâŚamazing dev blog!
Question 1: Itâs brilliant, a dog canât knock down an enemy ogryn, it can stagger it, and the question is WHY can an enemy dog kill our ogryn???
Question 2: Which genius thought of making an IMMORTAL DOG? Are you doing well?
Question 3: What is the dev blog about? Talents, what does the dog look like, what was the dev blog about?
Question 4: 4 immortal dogs pass the 40th havoc, all is well with you?
I believe the Arbites gets a separate storyline, and the storytelling rework is going to set straight the point from being an imprisoned reject up to at level 30 being no longer a reject
You become a Henchman/Henchwoman of the Inquisitorial Warband, and the Arbites character simply goes from being initiate to trusted
Something tells me that meta build for havoc will be without dog
