The music is on until the last horde skaven is alive. However, there are many maps when I guess some of the horde gets stuck and we have to hear the constant horde music. It’s very obvious on the new map, where there are many ways, and the AI has pathfinding problems. There are no enemies around, but the horde music is still playing.
So there should be a limit for the music. It might be time limited, or the game could count the number of the remaining members and end the music when there are only a handful alive. Or both. It’s unreasonable to play it far longer than the standard horde clear time. If one or two or five rats still chasing the party, so be it.

Play the new map, but some rats can stuck in any maps.
