Inferno Staff is still an issue even after Uncanny changes without effort or skill expression

oh, what if lmb wouldn’t add more sb stacks. but it will maintain the already applied burning so that the stacks do not fall off

I was kind of concerned about it potentially being too strong post-patch and I guess those concerns were founded. While we’re at it can we nerf Perilous Combustion?

The skill itself is weak without any underlying synergies for Soulblaze. It shouldn’t proc off of Soulblaze itself though - this is the only feasible way of making it weaker; that, or giving it a cooldown.

The inferno staff isn’t that good. The problem is the other staffs are bad.

Is this video supposed to be satire? How about you disable some of those cheats you have enabled.

In what way / ways do my cheats, as you call them, fail to prove the point that Voidblast is not bad?


the class is so broken that you dont even need a veteran, bubble, inferno staff, AND you can play a melee build for the 1st time in your life not even reading scriers and kill the whole map by yourself

forgot to mention: while playing on a shitty laptop with 80 fps with frame generation

Yup, Psyker is defenitely overtuned but I don’t see them nerfing melee Psyker sadly, that would bring a lot of controversy

Yeah currently it looks so weird having Inferno be able to just pass through a Crusher, potentially able to apply Soulblaze to 6+ Crushers at a time depending on enemy density.


It’s ok to have one or two enemies be the “NOPE” hard counter to a category of damage. If Crusher pops up, Psyker should be forced to reposition or engage in melee, not double down on Inferno.

And brainburst exists too, I remember back in the day when Psykers would actually use brainburst instead of using the blitz solely to proc Kinetic Flayer :old_man:

Yup, that too. If Crusher was a harder counter to Soulblaze/Inferno, maybe there’d be more of a reason to drop Warp Charges and go for Empowered Psionics

Regarding the spinning I have a nervous tic, I’m working on it

Lighting is cuz it gives lots of FPS, Game is badly optimized

we need review negatively the game too, but demanding for purgatus nerfs, not for buffs

they need to make peril quelling slower in general universally too, so that psykers are forced to take a while to quell, which would promote healthy melee switches and using ranged staves when actually necessary… not 24/7 from A to B everytime holding always purgatus as main primary weapon

not even in vt1/vt2 was like this, and it wasn’t because “guh i’m taking damage when i quell :sob:” cause you literally can perma sustain thp easily and have the same effect, it’s the fact it was actually slower to quell and the overheat uptime was lasting long, you “had” to quell or relying on the passive quelling and promoting melee switch.

in darktide you just quell from 100% to 0% faster than the light speed. and keep using it
it’s just no sense.
