if you fail a mission you still can keep the plaster and diamantine you got around?
From memory you do not. You gotta complete the mission or you get nothing.
You get everything what shows on summary screen after failed mission.

You get 50%-ish (exact % may vary), I think.
Because what you get when you fail is not what you managed to gather during mission – of that I’m sure.
You get some % based on how much you have collected. My gut feeling is that its around 30% what you keep tough i could be totally wrong since i really don’t pay attention to that.
Doesn’t seem to be a hard set number, either. The further you advance into the game, the more % of collected materials you get to keep. Same as Ordo Dockets and Experience and Experience in VT2.
