How many Havoc mods are currently *not* available?

I know maps rotate (weekly?)

but I’m surprised to learn modifiers are rotating too? Not sure how many or how often…. anyone can share?

I really love Moebian 21st and just dont understand why its hardly ever available to play. I am curious how many maps & mods are missing from Havoc on a regular basis. What else are we missing out on?

Hmm…2? The 21st and the goo modifier?

Currently available:

  • Final Toll
  • Rampaging enemies
  • The encroaching garden
  • Hideous rituals

Currently not available:

  • Hard pus skin
  • The blight spreads
  • Cranial corruption
  • Moebian 21st
  • Inferno (Environment)

Hidden (never available in game but existing)

  • Rotten armor (current event)
  • Warp Rift (enemies divide on lower tier enemies on death)

Thanks! So with only 8 total available, why not just have all of them available and randomly in rotation Fatshark :frowning:

Hideous as the rituals indeed are the game calls them Heinous and also makes them heinously bugged every third game or so :grinning_face:

I wish fatshark would address the “bugged” rituals

my take? its intended, theyre supposed to be extreeeeemely hard to get to & clear, so its an intentional “fight a daemonhost” mod.

last night i had a game on Power Matrix where we let 3 rituals go off but killed them all and no one died!

Your take might be right, but the rituals do not exist on their own and the rest of the game just wont stand there and scratch its butt.

DH is exceedingly easy to tank, DH is however exceedingly difficult to tank with a horde, twins and a beast on you while second nearby ritual is ticking down faster than it should. That’s more often than not a forced loss, unless set of highly specific variables is present; the DH aggroing on Shouty Plasma with CD stim, with Ogryn nuking the whole place for some breathing space and a room for the team to dance and somebody quickly removing that F beast

You forgot Inferno. It was possible to roll Inferno in Havoc during the event, but after the event ended it no longer shows up.

that’s too bad, Inferno was really cool and should definitely be a regular havoc modifier on rotation. the more variety the better!

I like Moebian 21st, I am neutral on Inferno and Cranial, but Pus Hardened and Blight Spreads should never come back. They are really awful modifiers that should either be reworked or changed.

Pus Hardened could be made better if it just couldn’t spawn on ranged elites. Having it on ranged elites makes choke points where there are 15 dreg gunners take forever because you can’t dive them and have to slowly chip them down. On top of that it’s also not a fun modifier idea in general, but that would at least make if less tedious.

Blight Spreads should just be killed forever, but if they do keep it make it so that enemies can’t pass the blight to other enemies. So there’s at least some strategy involved to what you kill and where you maneuver rather than the slop it is currently. If they really want to increase the chance that enemies spawn with it, but as it is every enemy pretty much always has it (same problem rampaging has).

For environment modifiers Tox Gas and Lights Out are both pretty abysmal, and I don’t find either of them challenging in a fun way.

well fatfish simply doesnt want to add all modifiers at once just like they wont add all the maps like who cares that it keeps things fresh if you can get ever modifier and play ever map instead of a small selection zzzzz

Because the 4 not in rotation are either nothingburger modifiers or EXTREMELY annoying

Rituals DH aggros on the one further back of them all

Teams can choose who should tank it, and send them at the back

I don’t know why this is not stated anywhere but makes rituals DH a lot easier

honestly not just Inferno but the new Rotten Armor event should also be a Havoc mod
