the 4 standart classes have more then enough cosmetics and dlc classes getting nothing is a bit sad give them some love pls or did Fatshark every said why they dont do it? allergic to money? or GW is again the big problem with it?
Most likely depends on GW. So probably never.
Just baseless speculation with zero proof.
My own mostly baseless speculation leans toward it being something to do with consoles.
GW seemed more likely when it was only Arbites. Hive Scum blew that theory apart imo.
Yet so far it’s checking out, 2 out of 2, with the 3 candidate just entering the scene.
It doesn’t make sense to me that GW would deny Hive Scum new cosmetics when all of those cosmetics (Necromunda ganger and Enforcer) were given to the OG four classes.
We have Krieg Ogryn so I need proof that GW are the ones in the way of creating cosmetics.
The fact that Fatshark prints money from the cash shop and therefor would want them, there’s clearly an external factor
i’m more worried about gw not allowing them to make anymore weapons, which we do have actual proof of happening in vt2
actually i remember them also limiting how some cosmetics are used. the felix + gortek ones i think? i dont pay much attention to horse armor but i recall reading a fatshark post on it where it was implied the armor and head can’t be seperate items because of gw
and that’s why it makes sense to me, GW makes notoriously paradox moves :'D
Mine is… they don’t want to pay a studio to create new cosmetics and do the bare minimum.
In other words… they are lazy.
Cosmetics make a fortune
It just makes sense
Why would the chinese company that practically owns Fatshark refuse to ask Fatshark to make cosmetics people would instabuy?
Exactly, because it’s not on them, it depends of Gw
I mean, GW gets a cut too. They have lots of financial incentive for it, and historically, they’d be all for it, just with the caveat that they have to approve any and every cosmetic before it actually gets sold.
There’s probably some weird licensing or contractual issue somewhere in the chain between host platforms (Steam, Xbox, Playstation), GW, and FatShark that is challenging to deal with. Though what that could be, I have no idea.
Ongoing legal dispute with a company they hired to make cosmetics?
i think gw mostly views video games as an advertising channel for plastic
if they don’t think it helps them sell funkopops they probably won’t push for it or flat out disallow it
