Lol Havoc was meant to make players fail so bad a win was a loss
This one is good, I was wondering how come my reverse slide was not working alongside knowing it was not a skill issue, the button or key press sequence was not triggering it, and Im glad if its easier to do so now
Seeing this request often for Weapons to be able to be consecrated to the rank above the current highest “Transcendant” tier. Players wanting to have weapons at a “Red” rank like in Vermintide 2 with Legendary Weapons. For Darktide make the name something like
“Consummate” (high degree of skill and flair; complete) or
“Master Crafted” (to reuse from old term of highest rarity and since its known in WH40K to mean a better weapon) or
“Canonized” or
“Sainted” (saw that one on a mod)
Figured I toss in a list of terms to suggest ideas lol
You basically already have them given how trivial it is to get a perfect dump stat (usually mobility) item.
If the color bugs you, grab a mod, unless you’re on console OFC.
Inversely, they had no incentive to help lower-ranked players while their own Deployment Charges and H40 rank were on the line, which effectively killed the new Campaign in its infancy.
that’s true. the good part about the change is that having h40 players in a team gives one the best boost, even if now it’s 3 ranks max iirc.
the bad part is that this separates havoc players into 2 classes: those who have achieved h40 already and are free to play whatever they want, and the varlets below 40 who still fear deranking.
What’s the incentive now? Not de-ranking? Being a Gatekeeper at rank 40? That not a good incentive, but again I don’t play the mode. I just see the majority of posts frustrated with Havoc. I have yet to see any overwhelming praise about Havoc.
There are other modes to sweat a little less. I guess I’m just on the other side of the fence on this one, but it makes sense to help out your friends without them feeling like they are letting everyone down.
After playing it exclusively over the last couple of weeks, I greatly prefer the feel of Havoc and don’t see myself going back to the ghost towns on Auric Damnation (as long as next season isn’t as annoying as the first iteration of Havoc was). And I’ve enjoyed all the parties I’ve joined, much more than I thought I would. Even turned voice comms back on for the first time in a couple of years.
The changes are good, and it’s nice to not have to risk my rank by playing lower Havocs (which are still more engaging imo than the vanilla difficulties).
I really feel like next season will either make or break Havoc for me. They’re definitely on the right track, but I think they still have to iron some stuff out.
Got a question. in the recent patches was write the problem with power sword activation and the dodges with « heavy weapon » was fixed. Do you feel this is the case with relic blade ? This is only with single hand power sword?
I appreciate any feedback.
