Helbore texture glitch

Issue Description:
The Helbore rifle on all patterns will occasionally have a weird texture bug in which the guns textures warp and on some versions of the gun it makes the sights unusable

Reproduction
I Can’t seem to reproduce the bug it seems random from what I can tell it will just happen during a mission sometimes and sometimes it won’t

Could you please upload your launcher log?

You may find it by doing the following:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide
  4. Locate the darktide_launcher.log in this directory
  5. Upload here

Wow, I made a new post about this, apparently I wasn’t alone allalong XD

I just noticed these glitches also occuring on the Ogryn Cleaver (mk3) and Grenadier Gauntlet … previously a ton on the Combat shotgun and Helbores [though obviously most obvious on ADS because it actually legit makes it harder to aim for me).

Still an issue as of… well today lol, just bumping XD

I had the same issue.
I do not know why, but it stopped since I upgraded my system to Win11 and moved my games (including DT) to my knew (additional) M2 SSD. During this process I had to change my drives from MBR to GPT.

After this these issues never occured any more …

My guess would be, that it has to do with the GPT-state of the drives, since DT has allways been on an SSD bit in MBR and via SATA.
