Havoc = objectively still wasted dev time

This is what I was referring to when I said no longer appealing to sweats. Other changes can be as good as can be, but I think making deranking even worse could be a deal breaker for some.

I’m sure some will look past it, but I’ve seen a lot more angry posts and comments about having to replay ranks than not.

people optimize their builds.

What are you even talkin about. Havoc promotes braindead narrow meta of spammy and easy to use things. What is there required optimization? Purgatus or VoC? Maybe relic? Does DS have some hard to master and risky but rewarding playstyle?

Is there any tight timings on dodges you need to master? No, you can just outspam with dodges. You don’t need to mix offensive and defensive combat phases, block is barely exist, or do you need to be accurate not wasting your ultimate?

Every wet fart staggers elites. Ammo management is not a thing. Psyker has no gameplay loop but neverending spam.

Do you pay attention to some enemy casting or channeling something you need to prevent asap? To ragers animations during combo?

If there is a mixed horde you just throw everything at them and they die or end up on the floor. The only thing that can kill you is trapper because she can shot through the mobs.

They overbuffed players then start balancing things via increasing spawns. They way game delivers challenge is not interesting at all, 0 brain activity or deccision making is required. It’s more cooldown spamm depended than skill.

Character gameplay is typical modern FPS like apex, but enemies are the same as in V2. It’s just two worlds collided.

Everything is so homogenized that Serious Sam asks for more brain capactiy to play.

Holy glazer. People like you are ruining this game.

the fact that you must use the party finder to matchmake is truly a terrible system.
because of this, finding a party takes extra effort, and in the worst cases, you can end up wasting dozens of minutes. depending on the server region, player population varies greatly depending on the time of day, forcing you to constantly switch server locations - search, switch, search again - over and over, which is unbelievably tedious.
most people have lives, jobs, and only limited time to play games. Fatshark, please, do something about this!

Yea the game is getting more content across the board, the reviews on Steam tick up every single day, the player counts are better now than they were a year ago and it’s all because the game is ruuuuuuined!

I don’t disagree with you. I’m not the person you need to tell all that.

Sweats abuse broken loadouts and then claim the game is too easy for them.

first of all i think your name is hungarian so, szia!!

i dont think its wasted the bones for something really great. the deranking and the restrictions on it are awful tho.

i do agree that fatshark would have an easier time lobotomizing some people rather than balancing the game but you really shouldnt punish people for being good at something.

i dont feel like this is relevant to havoc but yeah thammer mainly ironhelm could use a little touch up.
push stamina costs are way too high since its used to get to H3
carapace damage is sad
light attack damage is non existent
the improved clear isnt a valid enough reason to have all these weaknesses because you can use the active really except as an opener to clearing

Where are new enemies. In the game about killing enemies. In the game with mtx monetization. 2 years since release. 1 lord - officer.

Oh yes? from what 65% to 70% in 2 years? Lmao. Even HD2 pulled their crap after a disaster.

Sure, solely cause of crafting reworked that should have been delivered asap after release like in 6 months, but took them 1,5 years.

Graphs are hard, right, here is how uptrend looks, 2 years of DRG and KF2

You are glazing them, “oooh keep going sharks!” then they shove deranking 2.0 down in your throat.

We just need 10 years more and the game will be perfect!

Da hell you are even speak for hardcore audience, you are probably struggle with aurics and 20 Havocs. G-g-g-uys, that dude from youtube said he likes Havoc!

:smoking: i dont think they really get that people play the game because they like it not for any sense of progression or grind

It appears to be the actual opposite: They morphed havoc into something else with this patch. Maps and modifiers were not added, but in fact replaced into something else.

They genuinely seemed confused VT2 was a success and people played it for 100s of hours.

Agreed. New Havoc gameplay changes are good. It’s a challenging change that requires more thought and strategy instead of just bumrushing for the next elevator, or turtling in a psyker shield the entire match.

Get rid of the derank system in Havoc. Then sprinkle some of the current Havoc modifiers into the Auric pool and Damnation Mortis towards the final waves, so that the difficulty increase towards Havoc is more gradual. Problem solved.

Imagine if we were able to:

  • pick any map we want
  • set up any difficulty we want
  • add any modifiers we want
  • use party finder to host and join any custom games with the stuff above

Crazy concept, guys. Sadly this technology was lost thousands of years ago…

At some point you might just have to come to terms with the fact that you aren’t going to be happy with the game…

Meanwhile…more free content for a variety of players, Steam ratings keep going up, new platform’s worth of players are enjoying the game and adding to the player pool, FS’s been sticking to the schedule they laid out at launch, and there’s no sign of slowing down.

Was anyone happy with Havoc before? I meant keeping the difficulties we’ve had for over a year in tact for those who enjoy them while adding new stuff elsewhere (Havoc, Mortis).

I think it’s a good strategy. Havoc needed tweaks.

Wasn’t this guy defending Havoc 40 and its terrible artificial difficulty, but then it turned out he never actually played it?

This guy thinks Havoc is for people who can handle it and that struggling to get by with meta weapons/builds maybe means it’s not for you.

I kinda did. Haven’t played at all and posted much after Havoc release.

At some point you might realise you don’t understand the ammount of wasted potential this game has. And we could play a game that expanding its core features and sidesystems, instead of rainbow enemy recolor and moba gameplay.

Sure dude, i have a poop schedule too. But for you it means you will need to keep glazing after every update. I hope they atleast will give you some badge, or ingame title, like “proffesional glazer”, maybe they will make you a CM even!

Havoc shouldn’t be a thing at all. Twitch mode + Deeds to construct your own difficulty is what needed. All those things were there in V2 and people played it. Noone asked them to reimagining trash Weaves.

But now they created this mode that barely unique from aurics and they will spend half a year fixing it.

Missed the point entirely. But that’s okay, considering you were caught lying and disagreeing for the sake of disagreeing in many other threads, it’s no suprise you’re glazing and defending the [current thing] here too. Nothing will change.

I live in the real world, where I enjoy the thing a I’ve got before I’m dead.

Show me where I’ve lied, or hell even just not taken responsibility for getting something wrong.

Just like a developer can make a hard as nails game without being able to beat it, or someone can have an opinion about a piece of music without being a musician, people can have reasonable, informed opinions on Havoc without being a sweatlord.

If everyone were like you, we would stuck with pre redemption crafting. It is what it is guys, just accept and enjoy, don’t forget to buy new cosmetics.
