Yesterday, I though about going some h40, normal pubs from party finder, nothing to fancy. I take a look, 5 different h40 lobbies, neat. Now to look at their modifiers. Loo and behold, every single one had Enraged Elites (the red one), my most loathed modifier of all. Why is that?
Why, even though we have like 10 different modifier, only 4 are aviable at curent time? What is a point of straight up blocking content that allready is there?
Some would say “it is for seasonality of havoc, to drive up live service vibe”. Then why, when those modifiers change, we are not even told about this? How it could drive up the engagement, when patch notes for that small patch changing them, didn’t even mentioned that?
Why? Don’t you like red Crushers chaining overheads 10 times in a row?
At the same time stagger immunity / resistance feels like a food additive atm, this garbage is everywhere. It was a fun game mode initially. These days I really have no patience for the party finder waiting rooms, and the uninspired “difficulty” modifiers.
How about we go back to the drawing board Sweden and actually nerf what should have been nerfed months ago?
It’s just the usual “Havoc needs to do this or it’s just a power fantasy too” because the whole regular mission board is a power fantasy right now.
Fully agree with above sentiment that things need to be brought down. Malice should be the “I can solo carry this” power fantasy, aurics should be challenging but doable with randoms if there’s not too much dead weight, Havoc should be the extra with unique modifiers that challenge teamplay. That way there’s something for everyone and every need. Right now you just go from “I can solo carry this” aurics straight into “nothing staggers and game balance is all different” Havocs and something inbetween is just missing. Has been this way for a long time after release
