i could see this as a specific difficulty mod, like monstrous etc.
taken as a general rule for starting a game it will annoy everyone when their favorite class is already taken.
Iām of the strong opinion that, in a balanced game, itās good to get the player comfortable with the different classes.
I remember in V2 I never really wanted to play Sienna, until I decided to level her careers and ended up enjoying it just as much as the other chars.
I also firmly believe a player who plays all classes will be a better team player.
But I do understand the decision for Darktide.

Just did a 40 fellas & it updated it for this brand new week. As for the reward, I already got it earlier in the week it mustāve glitched out or something, so obviously no reward for this weeks schedule because I got it already earlier on, so it doesnāt count, Iām guessing? Not sure if that was just me or has this happened to anybody else? But it seems Havoc is okay for now at leastā¦ Itās like the algorithm bugged out or something on what week it was, idk couldnāt tell you either way.

Thatās cool so I played a low rank havoc the week before due to no time to game and it set my rank to that. Unexpected and annoying considering they said no derank even if you play a low one. Then it gave me the reward for the sub level 15 havoc twice, despite playing multiple 40s last week.
So now despite clearing multiple 40s I still canāt host my own 40 for another week again and I got screwed out of a weekly 40 reward cache. Iām not too upset about missing out on the box but not being able to host my own 40s still sucks ass so itās insult to injury.
Watch them do absolutely nothing except say āitās fixed nowā

My havoc rank updated correctly, even though āhighest rank completedā was 0 last week due to the bug. But I didnāt get the Havoc chest for this week.

Nice! Thatās at least some good news. Same thing happened to me. Got the reward from last weeks 40ā¦ Then all of a sudden mid-week I collected another reward and Iām like, wtf? It was meant for this weeks reward. Now, I get itā¦ Just so messed up. Youāre right, the algorithm is bugged out on crack. Hopefully, it doesnāt bug out again and stays this way.

Interestingā¦ I think Iāve read of one other person besides you that this has happened to. It sucks nobody else is getting the reward. Itās possible they collected it twice, but didnāt even notice? Idk what to say. On the opening chests penance for the frame & insignia it says week 5 for me, so weāre right on schedule & least for me. Itās almost as if nothing even happened to me which is weird af.

Week updated to 40, despite it saying my highest was 36, I collected the chest too. Did a 40, everything updated fine this time.
But, Auric Maelstrom is still broken and will throw a error if completed. Itās still not counting as a completed mission.

After checking looks like we got a reset without reward, i tought after the game was broken for 2 day in holidays we get twice reward for playing havoc, thats not the case. Not expected the fat shark is not generous.

Dunno if itās totally fixed,
but at least it counts the finished Havoc Assignment
and shows the highest rank correctly for me now.
