Really disappointing direction for Ogryn, as that was my main, Im done until its fixed. I’ll reinstall in a few months and see what’s up.

Can we get some clarification on this, please? When you say “as they were”, do you mean that ragdoll interactions have been censored in Japan this entire time, and you are just reverting the blood changes from the last patch? If so, has it been a deliberate choice to not tell players about region-based censorship?
That update is good overall but one question remains ; why Fatshark ? Why are you so mean with our big men ? I was expecting a rework toward nodes accessibility to make it easier like you did with the previous characters, not a nerf.
Ogryn is the least played class in the game (and it’s a shame it’s one of the funniest). He don’t need to have another nerf, on the contrary he need extra ratio… I mean more buff.
I want to raise attention to the newly added Legacy of Vraks weapon skin for the combat blade. I noticed after acquiring it that it looked awfully much like a skin that was previously released for the combat blade; Drop-Trooper’s Combat Knife.
Well, you can take a look at this juxtaposition and make your own decision.

This next one might (hopefully) also be a bug. The frame for Bestiary: Poxburster (5) - Pox Burster, is the exact same as the one for Strike Force (5) - Bringing the Boom.

The knives have a slightly different blade colour. So slight it is hard to notice without adjusting your brightness settings, so not good.
yeah its one of their many metal filters you’d have to analyze under electron microscope to point out the actual differences.
I expected someone to say this, I should have disclaimed this in the original post, my apologies.
They appear a tad different because the blades are angled slightly different in the showroom when I took the screengrabs. The global illumination of the showroom reflects differently onto the blades because of this, thus creating the illusion of different blade colours/hue. They are literally the same. The hue, saturation, design, textures and bump maps are the same.
I am just trying to hammer home the point here, as recycling paid cosmetics like this is not okay.

Here is an isolated extract of the two combat blades from the very picture above. Side by side comparison. No colour adjustments whatsoever. Background is changed to black to make it as easy as possible to spot the nuances in the “tones”. Guess which one is which. I rest my case.
If there is any further doubt, I can make a YouTube-video, showing the exact steps I am taking to even further close the case. I am willing to go this far to remove any sliver of doubt. These two skins are exactly the same. Cheers!
Top one has a touch of yellow, bottom one replaces this with blue. Bottom one is Legacy of Vraks I think.
Still too close to be selling as a separate cosmetic.

Fortunately, there are many tools I can use in Photoshop to compare colours.
First technique is called Difference blend mode. The way it works is that when you combine two layers on top of each other, the similarities of the two will be represented by the black colour. The more black, the more similar the two layers are. Here is the result:
Just to make it clear; this result means they are the same.
Another technique is using the Average Blur tool, which takes all the colours of an area, blends them together and visualises the average colour. This is the result:
Again, to make it clear; based on the average colours - they are the same.
A third technique is to highlight the objects of interest and observe the waveforms. Then one can overlay the two waveforms and use the Difference blend mode as we previously used to locate any differences. For the record, I had to offset the blend layer with 1 pixel, otherwise the entire result would be black. In other words; they are exactly the same.
This should contribute further to the original point: the two skins are exactly the same. By the way, your guess was wrong, unfortunately. I didn’t expect you to guess as I thought it was obvious that they are the same. It was a satirical question from my side haha! But here you go, everything is on a silver platter now.

Why do the community managers outright ignore all of the questions regarding the update here? Isn’t it literally their job to communicate with the community?

I hear you! I have been slower than I’d like to be in answering some questions. There are a few fires happening at the same time that I am trying to gather feedback on, coordinate with the team, prep comms, and distribute them. For this, I am one person and pulled in a lot of directions.

I’ve seen a lot of concern for our big guy here and across other platforms. I’m working on getting a statement from the team about the reasoning behind the decision on the Ogryns and moving around some things on the talent tree.

For some reason the Grim Protocols update removed the blood censorship but kept the ragdoll censorship, making me think this was what was meant by “as they were”, but I guess that was just a bug. Glad it’s resolved now anyway.
I want to tell you what I don’t like about Havoc.
- Why is the list of debuffs not listed in the patch description at all? How purely theoretically you can guess to find it here Havoc Missions Database - Warhammer 40k: Darktide - Darktide WH40k ? Can you normally and adequately lay out point by point at what point something begins to act, to describe everything ponty language, and not so that players sit and guess?
- How being in the game I should adequately understand what debuffs will act on the player, from what I roughly understand now hangs debuff on the resistance + speed of shooting on enemies, but being in the game I will see it where? At the initial stage, where only about speed? So there is the first level, and it is also updated once a week or progresses depending on the level of Havoc host? If it depends on the host, at what level will it start to increase?
- Since we’re talking about the host, what’s the point of the host?
