Grim Protocols - Patch Notes - Pt. 2

Ragers

Changed the armour type of the Scab Rager torso & center mass from Flak to Carapace.

……so now we have one more type carapace enemy, which could be found everywhere and anytime? Nice, just fraging nice! more weapons for the garbage can! Thank you fat shark :grinning: :+1:t3:

If this is just a mutator for Havoc, pretty cool. But as a tweak for the whole game? Not good.

So No guts no glory didn’t got fixed?

Damn I am sweating out here for my beloved brauto. Guess onslaught stonks just went up.

Experiance so far:

Open game, master craft new item with 17quintillion button presses but no other effort.
Win malestrom (with n00bs who like to shoot ALL the barrels other players are standing next to)
Open Havoc menu and NONE of it can be done because you need to be in a party of at least two and the entire party finder is empty.
EXIT GAME
leave negative review because new content is unplayable

Knew weaves 2.0 was going to be bad

Can’t wait to get off work later. Wanna use my incomparable mind to…swing a sword gud.

Also, as nice as Disrupt Destiny changes are, did they ever fix the buff randomly deciding to be invisible on the ui?

And will more fixes to talents that just straight don’t function be coming? Feels bad to not be able to know whether or not talents work implicitly. Or if they will break in a patch that breathes on them.

On the one hand, scab ragers were always the lesser compared to the Dreg ones.

On the other, good Lord is this going to make things difficult when the director bugs out and drops twenty of em on you.

Also, the patch notes are excellent. Everything is laid out for the new weapons and it’s all explained well.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUU-

The player and enemy battle for maximum deeps continues. Power creep go brrr.

im seeing it being used to fracture the playerbase there are some german /russian and french groups looking for players here , dunno what for of course

Making a couple notes here about Havoc:

  • Some players have reported being unable to access Havoc in party finder. Restarting the game should fix this.
  • I’ve seen some people misunderstanding something about Havoc. When you play with a party and successfully complete it, then the owner of that mission will see their Clearance Rank go up immediately. The remaining players will see their Rank go up the following week and they’ll receive the weekly cache based on that highest mission completed. It isn’t that they have no progress at all.

I looked through the patchnotes again and did not see them mention of any of the new penances.

Scab Ragers have been way less threatening than Dreg Ragers for a while now, this change makes them more challenging and interesting. Sure, the change makes shooting them with Braced Autoguns less useful, but just hit them in the head. They’re easier to dance around in melee too since they don’t attack as fast as the Dreg Ragers.

So that means, if i play a bunch with a friend starting the missions…
My friend leaves and i can now not keep playing on the same difficulty unless i keep getting taxied by someone else.
Until the weekly reset at least.

That sounds pretty weird.

Considering that havoc REQUIRES a group, that would mean that the number of players who can actually access higher level missions by themselves, is very low until the end of the week.

If you play 5 missions with a party, only one of the 4 members is actually able to access the new unlocked difficulties until the end of the week.

This is terrible design.

Looks at shiny new rager armor
Looks at my Trauma staff
Business as usual.

Maybe it’s just the rank itself that doesn’t get updated? But you could still access higher level missions? Otherwise yeah idk why they did that.

Was the range for the blessing “Shrapnel” changed? It feels way harder to proc on more than 1 enemy now.

Irrespective of that, are there any more changes missing from these patchnotes?
