Grenadier gauntlet now objectively better than rumbler

at killing elites + specials. rumbler dumb bounce is way too unreliable and instant detonation on gauntlet is just better. stay mad

Well, I used it before it was cool, and it was always better at killing specific types of specials and elites than rumbler.

It was always better to me, was the sniper before single stubber.

why? i’m happy ogryn got some more options.

tested gg today, goes well with krourk IV and karsolas :+1:

rumbler got sticky for what its worth on crushers bulwarks reapers and bosses, tiny trick to carry explosions into crowds but still neat

gotta take into account the rumbler purists out there. they be lurkin

based and truthpilled

It was always better at that.

I don’t think these weapons were ever competing for roles but alright. I think the GG is less ‘the worst ass that isn’t a stubber’ than before but its not night and day. It just does less 90% hits to things it really should have one shot before. So its a lot nicer, but the reloads are still almost 4 seconds and the splash is just AoE only. Same drawbacks as before.

rumbler nuance tip #1304

you can bounce the rumbler grenade off a surface near the enemy and make it explode on hit, right in the face most often after some practice

No

Rumbler needs a detonate on impact version. The explosion also deals laughably low damage for a round that big.

This. One is a single target sniper the other one is focused on wide spread disruption with good dispatches against specifically the bulkiest enemies.

Yes GG feels much better but it’s a pretty silly comparison.

like i said in OP, the bounce is unreliable and isn’t instant. also a lot of times the enemy will just walk out of the rumbler nade which is hilarious.
