Brunt sold me a green that had good base stats. Ended up like this after a visit to Hadron.
I’ve next to no experience with the Blastoom and would welcome some advice on which two of the four stats are best to swap out (and for what) please? Might give it a run out…
If you want toughness, Gloryhunter might be a better option than Reassuringly Accurate - it’s only elite kills, but I reckon you’ll get more elite* kills than crit kills anyway. That said, you probably need toughness that much
I personally prefer Shattering Impact over Blaze Away if you go the raw damage route.
Not really sure on perks, so I’ll have to leave someone else make suggestions there
*I feel like Elite kills on blessings is Elites/Specialists

Perks are reload speed (locked) and … I test arround with carapace, unyielding, maniac …

But you can use this to see what breakpoints you would hit.
If you want to kill specials and man sized elites, you should replace both perks to get +maniac dmg and +flak dmg.
You will be able to 1 shot all specials except mutants. Mutants are 2 shot.
You will also be able to 1 shot all gunner and shotgunner elites and 2 shot berserkers and maulers.
There are no perks or blessings that you could combine in order to 1 shot those elites, too.
The only thing you could do in order to 1 shot a mutant, would be to go for maniac dmg + special dmg and then headshot it with 5 stacks of pinpointing.
Probably not worth it.
You could go for +carapace damage, to allow you to 3 shot crushers, when fully charging your pinpointing.
Also probably not worth it. You can do it too, if you have your 15% rending after elite kill talent up.
Best case, you have flak and maniac dmg with pinpointing and shattering impact.
This allows you to 3 shot crushers and still have the 1 shot breakpoints against specials and gunner elites.
Shattering impact applies a debuff to the enemy, so it also benefits other attacks against a crusher, even if you do not completely kill it.
But good luck getting that perfect weapon with the current “crafting system”.

Sidenote: Pinpointing is really good on the GG, because even if you empty your mag as fast as you can, every shot except the first one will have 3 stacks from the blessing, due to the delay between shots. Those 3 stacks are enough to meet all of the bodyshot breakpoints that rely on pinpointing.
Technically, you could go for blaze away instead of shattering impact, but it is quite unforgiving and you lose the stacks basically the moment you do not fire at max rate.
Blaze away is not very good on this weapon since it does not work as it does with other weapons. Other weapons get 1 stack per 10% mag emptied. The GG gets 1 stack per shot fired, so you get 0, 1, 2 and 3 stacks for your shots 1-4 if you magdump at max speed.
Also consider, that holding your shot for a fraction of a second (or a full second) longer will grant 1-2 additional stacks of pinpointing, which gives you the same bonus as 1-2 stacks of blaze away would, while also allowing you to aim properly.
PS: I got lucky (not with the crafting system, but with melk).
