Game doesn’t start since the Expedition Upadate (Part2)

I’m writing again since I didn’t get an new respone to my post fron end of April. Still since the Expedition Update I can’t enter the game anymore.
The launcher opens, the shader cache loads, and then nothing happens anymore.
While Steams says the game is running.

I have used mods in the past, deleted everthing and reinstalled the game three time by now.
I tried everything I found here in the Forum and in others. Disabled Steam Cloud Saving, deleted the Darktide Folder inside AppData/Roaming/ and repaired the files afterwards.
Tried several launch options, started the game as an admin, tried a selective Startup…

My last idea was to try to play the game via Game Pass, and this actually worked.

So now I wonder is there maybe a Steam realted Problem or with my game Account?

I uploaded the Launcher Log too, since I was asked for it last time.

  1. Provide console log
  2. Try running steam as admin, not the game but steam

Sorry to hear this @T4alon

I suspect it’s a Steam permisions or settings mismatch that’s causing this.

Shot in the dark, but in case the GPU adapter is muddled, please try:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
    Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide
  3. Open your user_settings.config file
  4. Find the setting named ‘adapter_index’
  5. Change this setting value to adapter_index = 0
    (If the adapter_index value is already set to 0, please try changing this to 1 instead)
  6. Save your user_settings.config file
  7. Launch Darktide as usual

Otherwise, solid shout from silentbob515 above, to try running Steam as Administrator.

Failing this, please can you also provide your most recent console log so we can take a look under the hood?

Running Steam as admin actually worked. Thanks a lot @silentbob515 :smiley:

It took me a few tries to enter the Mourningstar with my Chars, I got the Error Code 3013 several times , but I guess that’s a issue with the Servers^^

I’m really glad I can reenter the game now, before the big Update.
