I think these are it

Thank you Ashley! Could you try lowering your ‘Worker Thread’ count within the launcher’s ‘Settings’ menu, and see if there’s any improvement in stability?

Will do is there a particular number it should be or just lower it by a couple?

Try a couple, if there’s no improvement, lower it a bit more

I have lowered and it was working but I’ve just had back to back crashes in Havoc 40. I’ve included all the logs I received.

The issue could be related to the following modules found in the stack trace:
module ‘sl.interposer’. This module is related to Nvidia streamline sdk. If this is a recurring issue disable features related to it and see if that helps.

Both very unusual crashes which have only ever occurred once on your machine by the looks of it, which makes me think you won’t run in to these a second time!

Do make sure your installation is complete by:

  1. Right-click Darktide in your Steam library sidebar
  2. Select ‘Properties’
  3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
  4. Select the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ button
  5. When complete, close and reopen Steam

Hi sorry to bother you again but I had another crash and wanna make sure I can get fix it. I did verify files like you said and it was working for a little bit, but it happened again in havoc

Thanks Ashley, it looks like this one is related to our audio, but only appears to have occurred on 2 machines which makes me wonder if this continues to be installation-related.

To rule out any caching issues, could you try this?:

Step 1: Disable Steam Cloud Saving

If Steam Cloud saving is enabled for Darktide, this may automatically restore the AppData and consequently cause the issue to resurface.

  1. Navigate to your Steam library
  2. Right-click Darktide
  3. Select ‘Properties’
  4. On the ‘General’ tab, scroll down to ‘Steam Cloud’
  5. Disable ‘Keep game saves in the Steam Cloud for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide’

Step 2: Delete AppData

NOTE: By deleting your AppData, your loadouts and custom keybindings will be reset. You may wish to make a back-up of the directory in the event deleting your AppData does not work to resolve the issue.

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to: AppData\Roaming\Fatshark
  4. Delete the entire ‘Darktide’ directory

Step 3: Verify Integrity of Game Files

You will then need to use the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ option, which is accessible via the Steam client and will ensure the installation is complete.

  1. Right-click Darktide in your Steam library sidebar
  2. Select ‘Properties’
  3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
  4. Select the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ button
  5. When complete, close and reopen Steam

Ok I’ve done all of that hopefully its resolved

Sorry I missed this Ashley! This one is a bit of a mystery admittedly, it’s not entirely clear what’s causing this.

Could you try performing a complete reinstall of Darktide?
