Failing to drop the scum Stim Supply will lock you in the animation where you can’t swap to melee or range. Only way to get out of it is to keep spamming F (abilities) to try to re-deploy. One was by a doorway in Spireside-13, another in No Man’s Land, passing a doorway (or what remains of it). Happened during damnation QP when I was surrounded by crushers and other muties.
Steps to Reproduce (Required):
I tried to reproduce it in uprising throwing a stim supply down but couldn’t really reproduce manually.
update: it has been more frequent. it’s hard to recreate because you have to be surrounded and since the latest patch, it will place the stim supply behind you if it can’t do in front, it will lock you in the drop animation if it can’t do so. happened twice in the same map (no man’s land) for the first time, usually it’s once ever 4-6 maps. just running around, barely effective dodges, can’t switch to weapons or blitz. gonna disable my mods again and try to get a screenshot before i get pummeled to death
It happens when you get staggered during animation, happened to me getting bashed by crusher as I was dropping it, and as chaos spawn staggered/interrupted me, had to alt f4 for one game, just straight up died to the chaos spawn holding the stim lmao
