Issue Description (Required):
During Expedition missions, some required or valuable Expedition items can sometimes spawn inside walls, floors, props, or other level geometry. When this happens, the item marker may still exist, but the item itself cannot be reached or picked up by players.
I have encountered this issue many times and used the Radar mod to confirm that the item was present, but located inside inaccessible geometry. This does not seem to be a rare edge case. In my experience, there is roughly a 50:50 chance that players will encounter at least one unreachable Expedition item during a run.
This can be frustrating because players may spend time searching for an item that is technically spawned, but impossible to collect. It can also affect Expedition progression, rewards, or resource collection depending on which item is affected.
Steps to Reproduce (Required):
- Start an Expedition mission.
- Progress through the map and search for Expedition items.
- Check item spawn locations around walls, corners, props, floors, and other dense geometry.
- In some runs, an Expedition item will spawn inside level geometry.
- Try to interact with or pick up the item.
- The item cannot be reached or collected, even though it appears to exist at that location.
Expected result
Expedition items should only spawn in valid, reachable locations where players can see and pick them up.
Actual result
Some Expedition items spawn inside walls, floors, props, or other inaccessible geometry, making them impossible to pick up.
